My first try at applique! It was fun, although I had to rip the seams about 3 times...my sewing skills definitely need improvement and LOTS of practice!! I used M's leftover quilt fabric for the shirt and for her flower "bow". I also made a flower pin for myself and we had a matching mother/daughter day yesterday:)

That is so cute!! We need to have a sewing day very soon b/c I still need some supervised practice!! By the way I had a great time the other day. We need to do that more often.
Mariah-I could definitely use some supervision, too!!! I had a great time, too! I plan on going to the zoo weekly, so I'll let you know what day we may go next week! You're invited anytime!!
Now I'm really sorry I had to miss our onesie-making session. It turned out so cute! We'll have to make plans soon before Anna Jane outgrows the onesie I bought to make for her. And, hopefully this time she won't get croup the day before.
Aubrey, I am so impresssed with your continued creativity and talent! I see a better sewing machine in the Christmas future!!!!!
Pam

ADORABLE!! LOVE, Love, LOVE it! And the matching bow is very cute! You are so talented!
And to comment on your other comments....we love going to the zoo too! Maybe we can go together sometime! M and Blake can be stroller buddies! ha!
Lisa-that would be fun!!! Let's do it!
Thanks everyone for your kind comments!!
Amazing. I keep telling myself I'm going to learn. I need supervision too. Someone please hold a class!!!!!! We are all about the zoo too (after this weekend) so don't leave me out :)
Too Cute. I wonder if I could do that. Ummmmm..... I have a niece that would look really cute in that.
