Thank you for everyone who entered the giveaway! I hope to have another one in the near future! So, keep reading!
I am excited to say that this is my 100th post!!! I had several ideas floating around my head about what to blog about to celebrate. The list included things like:
-100 things about me (part 2)
-100 favorite people
-100 favorite recipes (that would take forever!!!)
-etc......
But, I decided to do 100 of my favorite things. Some may be repeats of things you've seen in previous posts, but there are definitely new ones, too! BUT, what better way to celebrate, than with a GIVEAWAY!!! I am giving away a custom picture frame just for fun! Choose any design, colors, name, etc. to match YOUR style! All you have to do is:
**Leave a comment telling me what your favorite recipe is (that you have made). The winner will get the frame and will get to "guest blog" and share their recipe with us! Sound okay? I will choose the winner on Monday, June 23rd and post after 9am CST. (Examples of frames are pictured). ANYONE can enter! You don't have to have commented before, I don't have to know you, etc.....:)

My favorite recipe is my family's chocolate sheet cake. Do I need to write it out? I will if need be. I'm number one so there is no way I'm going to win anyway.
Also, I know the girl that has that top frame and she is a very satisfied customer.

One of my favorites - since we both like desserts - is my great-grandmother's peach cobbler recipe!! There is nothing fat-free or healthy about it - and that is why I like it so much!! I would love to share my recipe with you, but it is way too long for a comment box!! Congrats on the 100th post.
Thanks to those who have entered thus far! No need to give us your recipe yet (unless you just want to!)! But, if your number is picked, we'd love to see it here at Kingcade Kitchen!!
Don't worry, if comment number 4 is chosen, I will re-calcuate!

Congratulation on your 100th post!
I have a lot of favorites and they change depending on the seasons. One of my favorite summer recipe is Strawberries with Balsamic Vinegar
Ingredients
12 ounces fresh strawberries, large berries cut in 2
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
1/4 cup white sugar
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Fresh peppermint (about5 leafs) to drizzle om top.
How to
Place strawberries in a bowl. Drizzle vinegar over the strawberries, sprinkle with sugar. Stir gently to mix. Cover and let it sit at room temperature for at least 1 hour but not more than 4 hours or you can put them in the fridge overnight. Just before serving, chop the fresh peppermint and grind pepper over berries.
I have too many favorites but here's 2: Strawberry jello salad and Missionary Meatloaf.
I love these frames!
My favorite recipe is:
Tortellini Caesar Salad
1 pkg. (9 oz) cheese tortellini
1/2 C mayo
1/4 C milk
1/4 C plus 1/3 C shredded Parmesan, divided
2 tbl lemon juice
2 garlic cloves, minced
8 C torn Romaine lettuce
1 C seasoned croutons
halved cherry tomatoes
Cook tortellini according to pkg directions. In small bowl combine mayo, milk, 1/4 C Parmesan, lemon juice, garlic- mix well. Drain tortellini and rinse in cool water. Place in large bowl. Add Romaine and remaining Parmesan. Just before serving drizzle with the dressing from small bowl and toss to coat. Top with croutons and tomatoes.
Thank you for the giveaway!
One of my favorites for breakfast is a yummy coffee cake passed down from my mom! If you like cinnamon and sugar, you will love this one! I love the frames! Very cute! And I am loving reading your blog now that I've found it! I have a blog too--if you are interested in reading it, send me your email address and I will add you to my reader's list! lisabialon@cox.net
I am a friend of Pam's. We were talking about blogs tonight and she told me how cute yours was. How lucky am I that I chose tonight to look at it---the day before the drawing!!! Fun!! My favorite recipe is Manicotti. It is my "staple" for company. It was also my mom's staple for company. There was a recipe along with it for the sauce---but we all like it best with Ragu or Prago!!! And it is much much easier!!!
MANICOTTI
Meat Filling:
1 ½ lbs. Cooked ground beef
1 egg
½ lb Mozzarella cheese, grated
3 slices bread into crumbs
½ c milk
Season with salt, pepper and parsley
MIX THOROUGHLY
Cook Manicotti shells according to the directions on the pkg. Stuff with meat filling mixture. Place in baking dish. Pour sauce (Ragu or Prego 1jar) over top. Sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese. Cover and bake 25-30 minutes in 350 ° oven.
ENJOY!!!
Strawberry Trifle Cheescake
8ounces cream cheese
8 ounces sour cream
1/2 cup cold milk
3.4 ounces instant vanilla pudding mix
12 ounces frozen whipped topping thawed
1 - 1/2 cups crushed butter crackers
1/4 cup butter
2 cans strawberry pie filling
In large mixing bowl beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add sour cream; mix well. In a small bowl beat mil, pudding on slow speed for 2 min. Fold in whipped topping.
Toss cracker crumbs and butter. In trifle bowl layer half of cream cheese mixture, crumbs, and pie filling. Repeat layers. Refridgerate until serving.
SO YUMMY!!! Lick the bowl good!!!!
One of my favorites is an easy crockpot dish: Beef if red wine gravy, or beef in red cooking wine gravy as it is at my house. ;)
It is great in the winter time to come home to a yummy smelling house and a warm meal!
Congrats on your 100th post! That's exciting. I hope I'm not too late to get in on the giveaway. I have so many favorite recipes. One of my favorites right now is Brushetta Chicken and it is so easy and yummy too! I'll share it with you even if I don't win. (fingers crossed!)
